Brief Description: Boot Cowl and Carb Air Box Work
After getting the boot cowl primed, I cleaned the inside of the assembly. After cleaning and degreasing the inside of the boot cowl, I started looking at the places I needed to patch and re-seal the firewall/boot cowl junction. Letting the boot cowl dry from the cleaning, I pulled my carb air box to clean and repair it. I got it cleaned and degreased, making it ready to blast and re-paint. One tab that serves as the attach point for the carb heat cable needs replacing, so I'll do that before I re-paint the assembly. Also, to prepare for getting the wings back on the racks, I installed casters on both stands so I can more them if needed.
Carb air box and air filter cleaned up and ready for blasting.
