This entry represents a couple of work sessions. I obtained new bearings for the wheel assemblies, mounted and greased the bearings, and then re-assembled the wheel/tire assemblies. The tires were rotated as needed. I then mounted the wheels on the landing gear, so now my fuselage is back on its own gear for the first time in 14 months. It sure looks good in that attitude. I removed the firewall rotisserie braces and started looking at the last batch of things I can do before rolling the fuselage out of my hangar. I decided to mount the ELT control box back in its former location on the panel and ran the wiring back to the ELT itself. I've got a few nutplates to put on the panel top next session, and we'll see if I can come up with anything else before she goes to another hangar for a while.
