It was too cool to spray primer today, so I worked on my inspection hole covers back in the tail area, My idea is to put nutplates where sheet metal screws normally go, negating the tendency for those sheet metal holes to eventually strip out. It's a fair amount of extra work but I think the long term benefit will be worth it. I mounted the two plates that go around the rear horizontal stab tube. I fabricated the front jackscrew covers and the lower rear elevator cable hole covers. I'll clean those up, primer them, and they'll be ready to mount as well. Hopefully, it will be warm enough to shoot primer again this week-end.
