Brief Description:  Fabric Shrinking

I did the initial fabric shrink on my right side fabric. Much to my delight, my fabric seems to have been put on fairly well, since the fabric shrank very nicely and looks good. I was especially pleased with the transition from the fuselge sides up to the vertical stab area. After only the first shrink, there were no wrinkles left and the lay of the fabric is one that this rookie is fairly proud of. I started fabricating the re-enforcement patches for the various areas such as gear attach fittings, fuselage handle, etc. I take heavy masking paper, make a template to the shape I like, then draw the shape onto the fabric for final cut. The fit works out pretty well.
