I started hooking up some of the systems that are associated with the engine. I removed the primer system from my old engine and installed it on the new engine. I ran the copper lines from the gascolator to the primer and back to the engine mounted primer lines. I finished attaching the carb to the engine and hooked up the throttle cable. I went under the panel and routed the other cables and wires into their final positions so I could see how much slack was needed on the firewall side. While doing all this, I identified a few specialty fasteners I needed and got them on my next order list.
