With a new brake bleed valve assembly, I filled my left brake today. I tested both brakes and they fille pretty good. Next, I finished the assembly and mounting of my left wing tip nav light. After an exhautive search for new bulbs for these old Grimes units, I discovered that the bulb was actually an automotive bulb, not an aviation unit. Lesson learned. I also flashed the field on my generator to get its polarity correct, and then tested my starter for the first time. Everything seems to be working great. Next up is to fill the primer lines, time the mags, and hit the start button.
