Brief Description: Paint Booth And Tail Feather Work
I worked in two locations today. First, I went down to the paint booth and removed the masking from my cowling parts. I also started tearing down the booth. I took all the plastic cover from the roof of the booth, and removed the top supports that formed the ceiling. I then removed the rest of the plastic wall covers, leaving only the side walls standing. They will require two sets of hands to take apart. I then went back to my hangar with my cowling parts and other paint booth items, and unloaded them into my hangar. Once everything was put away, I started work on installing the tail faethers. First up was the horizontal stabs, which went on pretty easily once they were prepped and cleaned up. I have a few bolt issues I need to take care of, and then I can bolt the tail struts in for good. All in all, a productive session.
