With me out of the paint business until warmer weather, I decided to work on some of the systems that I can. I installed the fuel tank and tank coveron my left wing. This included cutting felt strips for the tank straps. One vendor was charging 42.00 per wing for the strips necessary for each wing. I went to a fabric store and got felt to do about four or five wing sets for $7.00. I had to fabricate new bolts for the straps themselves since the old ones were in fairly sad shape. End result was, all worked out just fine.
