I removed the N-strut and the rest of the wing strut attach fittings from the left wing for clean-up and paint. I did the same for the root compression strut and the wing attach brackets. All this load of parts now heads to the bead blaster for cleaning, then priming and paint. About half of these parts will have to be heated up with a butane torch to get the sticky residue off. I think this is a by-product of the critters that once made this wing home. Anyway, it all will be gone shortly.
The aileron bellcrank assembly before clean-up. Nice looking, huh?
