I finished the mounting and fitting work on the "N" compression strut that mounts in the area where the wing struts attach to the wing. The aileron bellcrank assembly mounted on the back of this assembly is also back in place. I removed the last compression strut in the right wing, and will get it cleaned up, painted, and back in place next session. I had a visit from a good friend and expert builder, Rick McBride. He was down from DC and this was his first opportunity to see my project first hand. He didn't laugh out loud at anything, so that's a good sign. Anyway, it was a good chance to do a little hangar flying with a good bud.
Aileron bellcrank cleaned up and re-installed.
Cleaned up "N" strut and wing strut attach points cleaned and back in place.
