With Jimmy Hall's help, I got the other wing up on the sawhorses today. We looked at the first wing's interior structure and decided that we had a pretty good wing. Just lots of clean-up to do. Jimmy agreed with me that the leading edges are not salvageable. I opened the other wing tip and discovered that the left wing tip was missing two of its braces. That may account for a lot of its bowing out of shape. Either way, the braces will be in place when that wing is re-covered. I'll finish stripping the right wing next session.
Right wing up on its sawhorses.
Right wing-tip with all its braces in place.
Just some more clean-up to do. A larger brace will go back here to kill an AD.
