I managed to get one wing up on its sawhorse and stripped the covering away from the top side. Other than being dirty and full of different animal droppings, the metal parts look like they are in pretty good shape. All of the steel parts will be pulled, blasted, primed and painted. I was hoping I could get away with not replacing the leading edges, but that's not going to happen. Trailing edges look great. As soon as I can get someone to help me, I'll get the other wing up on its sawhorses and get to stripping that one.
