Brief Description: dimpling L and R Horizontal stab parts
Consulted with Vans builder support concerning a couple call-outs on the H.S plans. the plans show an area cut out at the bottom of the rear spar to allow clearance for the downward movement of the elevator. The plans also show a hole cut in the front spar for the elevator cable. Vans rep say they can be cut now but after looking at drawing 27 I decided to wait because there isnt a specific amount to cut in the rear spar. They will remain accessible after the skins are attached so I am going to wait. For the cable hole, the dimensions on the plans don't match with the hole in the doubler and I'm not going to cut another hole. Made the decision to cut the 5/8" hole in the center of the double hole. There is enough rivets in the doubler around the hole to ensure strength.
