Well it took a bit of waiting, but my new Culver propeller ended up on my porch -- visited Culver (Valley Engineering) in Missouri late last winter and enjoyed the tour, chatting, planning the prop and just watching -- now it is here... it's a 65X48" which most will realize is a pretty fine pitch for a typical Cougar, but with 100hp and wings that have at least 30% more area, I expect the performance envelop will be closer to that of a Wittman/Luce Buttercup than a W8 Tailwind or Cougar built to spec. We'll see -- in any case, it sure is curvaceous and nice-looking now -- doubt the curves do anything, from what I read, but I like the look... Now, to get the rest of the bird to this standard.
