Windshield/skylight bows largely in place -- a little shorter than some because I'm only using the 48" length that can be shipped without premium (cheap, yeah, I know), but it also allows me to use a part of the old cabin top as a handy place to mount radio antenna as well as proving a fairly solid transition to the wing roots... the bows went up without incident although there had been numerous trial fits over six months, so they'd better... Dropped the torch and bent my good -00- tip, so had to finish with an older -0-; clumsy of me... threw a quick coat of zinc-chromate on all but the center -- discovered when I'd put everything away, that I'd only tacked the lower, center so left that un-primed so I'll be reminded to do that the next time I fire up the torch... is basically the orthodox W8/W10 style contrivance except that there is a firewall stand off to ease the over-spar-carry-through transitions -- or so goes my flimsy theory...
