Attempted to use two-part sprau can primer (yep they make it), but that seemed vulnerable to MEK, so sanded it all again and used the more traditional two-part... Eastwood gray, via the HF HVLP gun (the purple one). Probably ruined the gun since I don't know how to clean it properly, but I bought a spare sp we'll see if it soaks loose... Painting wise it worked better than I'd hoped... for the small tubes I kept the fan size near its smallest setting and although the PSI at the filder/sump was set at 60psi, I was runing almost 100 feet of hose, so was doubtlessly lower at the gun... ran the usal final evaporater at the gun... other than ruining the gun, it sprayed well -- so we'll see about doing a beter job next time (cleaning that is...)
