Finished most of the welding on the firewall extension... added a small triangular tab as much to fill a hole as anything, otherwise nothing spectacular, but the center should be super strong. Ground down the tap that are used to mount the preformed windshield because I will be using the Wittman style wrap and the tabs will be superfluous if not in the way... ground them down, but left them a tad proud so I wasn't in danger of nicking the spar carry through -- that, I'd guess, would be really bad form. Sprayed on a light coat of zinc chromate...
