Had to follow the lead of other Corvair powered Cougar, Tailwinds and Buttercups and modify the vertical tail from the plans. Nesmith, like Wittman, has the LE of the VT displaced to the left got clockwise turning Lycomings and Continentals -- the Corvair turns counter clockwise, so it has to be reversed. The theory is easy enough, but the 3D nature of the ribs makes for a bit of fiddly-diddly work -- and then my torch had a series of hiccups (actually, I discovered it was the flashback arresters) that took a while to repair -- anyway, all is well that ends well and now the LE is 3/8" to the right rather than a similar amount to the left, rebuilt in its 3D format.
