Bent tabs on the dreaded trim tab. Drilled hinge. Everything lined up perfectly, and I thought I'd be one of the few first time builders who actaually got the trim tab right the first time. That was a short lived thought... Picture 3 shows what I discovered after a close inspection. When I did the trailing edge bend about a week ago, I bent it way to much. I flattened the trim tab, so I had to "unbend" it by prying it apart. I didn't see any damage at that point, but it was definitely done. Oh well... So much for feeling good about myself! REDO!
