Brief Description:  Fuel filter and fuel pump mounting

It was a busy day with lots of decisions to be made on how and where exactly to mount the fuel filter and fuel pump. I added an additional mounting plate for the fuel valve. This way I can work around the fuel valve with the fuel tubing instead of having to support the Anadair fuel valve from the mid cabin cover and work underneath. I opted to make the stock Vans filter mount work with my EFII filter. The EFII filter has a ring around it that makes it difficult to mount and sit true and secure. I modified the mount slightly and got a secure fit. I studied the VAF forum a lot trying to figure out the best method and orientation for the EFII Fuel Pump. Final I decided on what is seen in the picture. I decided to use Rivnuts and 8-32 hex head screws from ACS to mount the fuel pump once the location was decided. This worked well. I also decided to reverse the orientation of the pump so I could have a longer straighter run of fuel tubing from the aft end of the pump to the firewall. Also a longer run from the gear tower to the intake of the pump at the forward end next to the firewall. The EFII pump is longer than most so to do it any other way would make for some tight bends and close connections.
