Spent this day building the elevator trim tab. I deviated from the instructions in that they have you complete the trailing edge bend of the E-619PP-1-020 Trim Tab Skin first before bending bending the end tabs of the Trim Tab Skin. I found it easier to do it in the reverse order and then I didnt have to fabricate blocks of wood in the shape of the trim tab. I marked the tabs so one would overlap the other and started to bend using the same technique as on the elevator skin tab. All in all it came out very well and I was very happy as I only had to do it once and didnt have to order another part.
Then I cleco'd the E-607pp Trim Tab Spar to the bottom side of the trim tab skin. Then clamped and clecoed E-718 and E-717 Control Horns to the skin and match drilled.
