Started the day by removing the clecos that hold the E-705 root rib to the E-702 elevator spar and then cleco and drilled the WD-605-1-L elevator horn to the elevator spar and root rib.
Cleco and final drilled the E-606 trim spar to the root rib.
Match drilled the left elevator skin to the understructure, and also drilled the elevator tip rivet holes #30 to accept the CS4-4 blind rivets when the time comes to rivet the fiberglass tip on.
Machine countersink the E-714 C/B lead weight to accept the dimples formed in the E-713 C/B skin.
Machine countersink for the E-705 root rib attach holes on the forward face of E-702 elevator spar.
Beveled the inboard and aft edges of the E-713 C/B weight skin where it overlaps the spar and rib flanges.
Finished deburring most of the left elevator understructure and scuffing with a scotchbrite pad before dimpling and adding primer.
Match drilling the elevator horn to the root rib and the spar.
drill countersink the counterbalance weight.
Match drilling the elevator skin to the entire understructure.
