Brief Description: Dimpling HS skins. ribs and spars.
Today my son was home from college for the afternoon so we were able to dimple the HS understructure using a pneumatic squeezer on the ribs and spars. While he was using the pneumatic squeezer, I was using the DRDT2 to dimple the HS skins. After a while we would trade opperations. All dimpling was completed. With a little time left before he had to head back to the college, we were able to start assembly of the Vertical Stabilizer. We cleco'd the VS-808PP spar doubler to the VS-803PP rear spar and also the hinge brackets VS-410PP, VS-411PP, VS-412PP as seen in the second and third photo. Prepared the VS ribs by smoothing edges on a scotchbrite wheel and fluted the to straighten the curvature out
