I marked out the location of the #8 screw holes that I wanted on the doubler. Once the edges of the access opening were smoothed, I clamped the door and doubler into place on the bulkhead and made sure they lined up correctly. Then the doubler, bulkhead and door were match drilled starting with #40, and up drilled to #19.
