Before I removed the windscreen for temp storage I traced it's outline to the top surface of the forward top skin and traced a line on the underside up against the instrument panel.
I removed the forward top skin, scuffed it with scotchbrite, primed and painted it a flat black color for glair reduction. The paint came out OK, might need another coat on the top side, hopefully i can protect this finish throughout the rest of the build
