Brief Description:  Cockpit Vents

I riveted the vent bracket holder to the side of the fuselage and then fastened the vent bracket to it. When I purchased my vent brackets from Classic Aero, Luke through in an extra pair (at no cost) of a prototype he had made which incorporates holes for the headphone jacks. For now i think I'll try these out, as i have no better place at the moment to place the headphone jacks. The only disadvantage of this particular bracket is that the "guts" of the jacks can be seen from the side.

My only other option would be to put some holes up in the panel. Some people mount their headphone jacks on the armrest, behind the elbow, or on the crossbar behind or between the seats. Although that sounds good; i'm not particularily fond of those locations because they are not real accessible during flight and require more wiring.
