I took a slightly different approach to the gear leg / wheel pant fairings. Rather than clay mold and custom fabricate fiberglass fairings I used the RVbits.com farigins as a starting point. And rather than glass these into the wheel pants im making them removable with the use of screw fasteners, tinnerman washers and clickbond fasteners. This saves me from a weekend of glassing and sanding. If i decide to in the future it will be simple glass these on to the wheel pants permanently. Like my wing tip light cover; i sort of secretly like the look of the fasteners.
