Brief Description: Red Cube Mounting (fuel flow tansducer)
The Garmin G3X comes equipped with a fuel flow transducer, capable of indicating fuel used, fuel left, projected range, fuel range rings on the moving map, the whole nine yards. This is done by plumbing a fuel flow transducer (aka red cube, in the industry) in line between the mechanical fuel pump and carburator. It is wired to the G3X system. This will need to be calibrated prior to first flight.
