Brief Description:  Cabin Heat Scat Tube

Now that the firewall forward wiring is about 99% and the firewall penetrations sealed; i was able to put these big hoses in place. The cabin heat is like a volkswagon. Ram air comes from inside the engine baffles, through a heat muff, and to a bypass selector valve. When cabin heat is off, the excess air is spilled into the cowl and out through the bottom exit. When the cabin heat selector is pulled, it open and closes (incrementally) a bypass valve that allows the heat through the firewall and into the cabin.

I have the vetterman dual mufflers on my exhaust. The cabin heat muff is wrapped around the right side muffler. This setup supposedly provides excellent heat, superior to a heat muff solely wrapped around an exhaust pipe with no muffler.
