Brief Description:  Install Landing Gear

I'd say im 99% complete with avionics wiring and tiding up of things so it's time to get herback up in the air. The plane stands so tall on the gear that it would have been near impossible to reach things to wire it up... not to mention i've been in and out of that thing 100 times or more in the last couple months wiring.

Installing the gear is nothing to take lightly, if something fell during this it would be catastrophic. The fuse has to be lifted very high to get the gear legs slip up into their receivers, and then it can be lowered back down to slip the bolts in. I got all three gear legs in stalled and torqued the bolts.

The nose gear bolt installs from the cockpit side of the firewall through an access hole. The hole as installed per vans dimensions was offset so i had to crawl in there with the dremel and oblong it. Now ive got a goofy penetration to figure out how to patch.
