Brief Description:  Exit Air Bracket

This bracket is a means to support the aft portion of the bottom cowl where it is split for the penetration of the nose gear leg. Tail dragger models dont have this bracket. Without this bracket the cowl is kind of flimsy after cutting the slot for the nose gear. The cowl slides down in between two sheets of aluminum as it is installed which secure it in place. The exhaust pipes exit on each side of the bracket.

The bracket is bolted to the nose gear leg and the firewall; it is actually quite complex little part to fabricate, consisting of six seperate aluminum pieces, 3 bolts, 2 nut plates and a handful of rivets.
