Brief Description:  Initial Cowl Fitting

Prior to resting the cowl halves on the fuse the front of the cowls are mated together. The initial fit was horrible, and like the sliding canopy, you just have to jump in and start cutting and sanding; bringing it closer and closer. I got the fit of the two halves good enough to start trimming the rear ends.

The cowl halves come with room to on the sides and the aft ends. You more or less fit the front of the cowl to the spinner backplate and let everything flow rearward from there.
