Added fiberglass & epoxy reinforcing strips on the inside of the wheel pants where brackets are fastened. Later on I applied a single coat of epoxy to the entire interior of both wheel pants to smooth out the rough textured finish. This will also help keep dirt from embedding in the porous fiberglass.
