Construction of the sliding canopy has been enjoyable, tedious and time consuming. So much that i havent had time to update this log and will probably do so by simply posting photos, for the time being.
I have so far followed the plans, despite all the options out there to: adhere the canopy with structural silicone, construct fiberglass fairings inlieu of aluminum, put rubber grommets in the rivet holes, etc.
I have made good progress with little frustration, and am sticking to the plans to alleviate scope (time) creep.
No cracks so far!
