Brief Description:  Windscreen Fitting

Fitting the windscreen is really all about trial and error. Within a few hours i had it pretty well fit up, buffed out and drilled to the roll bar assembly. I threw on some Bob Marley and went to town!

It's a process of taking off a little at a time. Because each time you take a bit more off, the front lets say, it changes the position of the sides, and so on. if you cant envision the big picture here, it's either going to take you 3 months to complete, or you're going to make a big mistake and over do it somewhere.

I did a a lot of free hand drawing on the forward skinm measuring from side to side and sculptint the leading edge of the wind screen to fit. Once this was done i had to take in the vertical sides about 1/4" each, and tapered probably 6-8" from bottom to top.

Because of how i postiioned my canopy when drilling the handle, i have a pretty good fit of the windscreen to the roll bar. It fits flush to the roll bar across the tops and matches dead even to the slider. I had to shim out the vertical sides at the last 5-6 fasteners per side, using AN-960-10 & 10L washers.
