When i bought my seats from Classic aero i also bought their aileron pushrod boots. I installed the half that fastens to the fuselage (the leather boot zippers up around the pushrod after it gets installed).
These boots are installed at the wing roots where the aileron pushrods pass through the fuselage. This cuts down on the cold drafts of air coming through here and seals up the fuselage.
This was a real clean install. You cannot see it int he photos, but these couplers that are riveted in place have a flanges that is recessed between the two exterior skin and floor rib at this location. No air will pass through once the boots are on. Prety impressed with this design, although these pictures dont do it justice
