Brief Description:  Fuel & Brake Lines

The standard RV kit uses soft aluminum tube and AN fittings to make-up the brake, vent and fuel lines. This is done by bending and flaring (37 degree) the tube in and around the cockpit accordingly. After spending one entire day getting a single aluminum brake line tube routed to my expectations, i shit-canned that idea. I took some measurements and called up Bonaco; maker of prefabricated stainless steel braded hose assemblies. The lines I ordered arrived and within a few hours I had all the lines installed secured and torqued. In terms of torquing all the AN fittings I used the method of "finger tight, plus 1/4 turn."

I figured this saved a bunch of time and provides a much better quality system. These lines will be easy to inspect and replace when necessary.
