Earlier I had prepped the aileron skins by placing the rivets in each hole and securing in place with rivet tape. On the way home from work i stopped by the home depot aviation supply for some 3/8 underlayment board to place on the adjacent sides of my back riveting plate. This will keep the skins flat / flush with the back plate as best as possible.
Next I took to the back riveting and whipped out all 196 rivets in probably less than 20 minutes. I love back riveting; so simple and produces superb results all the time. I wish the whole plane was back riveted. Anyway, after alot of cutting, drilling, deburring, etc. the aileron skin with back stiffeners are complete.
