Brief Description:  Done! - Rivet Trim Tab to Elevator

Well, that's a wrap! Finished that last definable feature of work on the ol' emepennage today by riveting the now famous trim tab in position on the left elevator. All said and done it swings nice and freely.

I ended up with a dimpled trim tab hinge on the half that rivets to the elevator skin and spar. Early on in the plans it tells you to counter sink the top of this spar and dimple the bottom... at that point in time it made no sense, so i went ahead ( as hundreds of other builders i've found) and dimpled both sides. The result is that now the hinge has to lay up against these dimples, thus itself needing to be either dimpled or countersunk. I thought dimpliing would be the least invasive of the two. I dimpled that half of the hinge while it was hinge pinned and 90 degrees to its other half, in order to minimize the amount of warp the dimpling was going to embed into this thin half of the hinge. Next removed the hinge pin and cleco'd the hinge half to the elevator and riveted it into place.
The trim tab slid right on and all in all the hinge acts normally, as it did prior to any dimples or rivets. So, that error turned out to be a non-issue.
