Brief Description:  Fitted Elevator Counterweights

This morning i trimmed the lead weights to be fitted on the leading edge of the elevator tips. Some time is spent visualizing the weights with the detail given in the plans so you dont screw this up. All four weights get trimmed top and bottom (two pair - mirrored image of each other) however only 3 of the 4 weights get their aft edge trimmed. The aft edge remains on the inboard weight of the left elevator. After trimming with the band saw i deburred the edges and bolted in place with provided hardware. I torqued the lock nuts to 25 inch-pounds. Need to order some torque seal in order to keep track of what has been final torqued (yellow paint for nut-to thread transition visual inspection.)
