Brief Description:  Rudder Assembly

Tonite I dimpled all the ribs, spars, parts and skins. Had to get creative to dimple a few of the tight spaces near trailing edges of the ribs. I used a rivet puller with a dimpler set and stacked some square washers in the space to pull against. This tool will pull a dimple in from the opposite side, which works well where a yoke will not fit.

I also assemble the skeleton of the rudder using the pneumatic riveter for 98%. This worked real well and provided perfectly set rivets. I also was able it get creative near the bottom attach bracket and horn brace and use the pneumatic for all but 1 rivet at the forward edge of hte bottom rib/horn bracket. The plans allow for optional pop rivets here.
