Haven't been able to get much done on the plane due to long work hours and an extremely HOT garage at 6pm every evening. Most of the work being completed during this miserable summer is being done on Saturday mornings. As soon as this heat breaks I plan to be out there a lot more. I spent the last two Saturdays installing nut plates in the floor structure. The plans call out for riveting the cabin and baggage panels in place but I prefer to have them removeable for inspection access. It's quite a bit more labor and will add a little weight but will be nice come inspection time.
