It's been a while since I posted an update to the project. I took a much needed break and now I'm back at it. I spent the last couple of days rigging the elevators. I had a slight mis-match in the elevator control horns the first time that I drilled them and decided to weld one of the horns (LH) and start over. I clamped the elevators in neutral and match drilled them again. I then set the up (29 deg) and down (23.5 deg) travels and fabricated the respective stops. I checked all of the clearances and am now satisfied with the operation of the elevator system. I installed the elevator trim actuator and now I'm waiting for parts (wiring and connectors) to finish that system.
