I got my electric fuel pump, gascolator, and gascolator firewall doubler from Vans yesterday so I spent some time today mounting them. I have decided to go with a carbuerated fuel system. I had to choose between fuel injection and constant speed prop since the budget wont allow both and I'm going with the c/s prop. I fabed the doubler to mount the fuel pump and located it where it needs to go on the firewall. Since my firewall is the old school RV-6 design I had to modify the gascolator bracket to fit. Not a big deal, I just cut the outboard end off and attached it to one of the other L-angle stiffeners with a .063" clip. I also fabed the line between the pump and gascolator.
