This weekend I continued working on modifying the battery box installation. I replaced the angles for mounting the bat box with some that I fabed out of .032" stainless. Since my battery box has a hinge installed on the bottom to allow it to rotate forward to for clearance from the brake reservoir, I wanted to install the attaching hardware for the angles front to rear. The angles included in the kit from Vans had the pre-drilled holes for installing the nutplates on the angles. I could have used them but there would have been a lot of empty holes. I also temporarilly installed the master and starter relays. I fabed up the firewall doubler and need to prime and install it before I can mount the relays permanently. I ran the wire for the elevator trim servo thru the bulkheads but I'm still waiting on parts to complete the install. Maybe next week.
