Brief Description:  Making the batteries fit

Kitlog is not working on my computer after the latest Windows 10 update! Todays log is being done on my over 10 year old laptop...and its quite a long process. That doesn't count as build time just hours I'll never get back.

I've made foam boxes to replicate what needs to fit in the nose. Given the lightweight Li batteries cause occassional fire with a lot of smoke, I'll have to go old school and put heavy things in. The Odyssey batteries are great so I'll have to go two PC310's at 3.9" X 3.98' X 5.53" Two of anything else in the range would not fit.

I tried this size in the nose and my nose box was .5" too long at the base. Yes four hours later, working quickly, I had it fixed over a couple of days and a cure cycle.

Pic 2 is the little change you probably can't even notice. Pic 1 shows how it don't quite sit on the bottom. Pic 3 and they just fit now and with the nose door on you can see we even have an inch clearance at the top.

Job done, move on.
