Brief Description:  Right tank assembly and Pro SEAL 5 of 7 ribs

I fit all the ribs inside after straightening and ensure the flange was 90 degrees to the web. I have found this to be a real solution to fit later on when you are riveting and it pays off big time when you butter the flanges with Pro Seal and slide into place, the better the fit the less mess you make in getting the Rib into place for riveting..

Using my die grinder and a scotch wheel I briskly went over the join between the rib and the tanks skin, this was to make a better Pro Seal attachment and prevent leaking.

I finished five of the seven ribs and it all went smoothly except for the ugly mess that Pro Seal makes of everything it touches, heads up here you need LOTS of Naptha(US) or White Gas(Canucks) to clean everything off. I bought the Pro Seal remover from Vans but I use it for Pro Seal that has dried to hard and permanent state.

I used a total of 80 grams of white Pro Seal and 9 grams of activator. The final product was applied by buttering it onto the flange about 1/8 inch thick, this produced a nice squeeze of Pro Seal either side of the flange when riveting the rib in place to the skin. I riveted while the Pro Seal was fluid and found that it oozed out the rivet head and out the sides of the flanges which I am hoping will cause sealing everywhere as expected and no leaks!
