After discovering the doubler was on the wrong side, I took it off and installed it on the proper side of W - 707.
The next thing was that the outside W 712 R rib was seemingly wrong, the holes on the spar side of the rib would not line up. After careful inspection and a night of thinking about it l find the the rib will work if it is turned with the flange turned outboard. This appears to work and I going to phone Vans.
