Brief Description: Elevator Stiffener creation and placement
Manufactured the stiffeners needed for the right hand elevator topside. This was fun and had me using all the power tools such as the bandsaw, sander, and the air drill. Also I will be using the pneumatic squeezer for the dimpling of the stiffeners. It went well and was as per the instructions of the RV 6A , in the final work I found that i just estimated where the oddball rivet should go, so for instance when the last rivet was out of spacing I adjusted the last three rivets to get that extra rivet in and the spacing looked good.
Riveted the topside elevator skin to the stiffeners, worked great! This is so cool , i am farther now than I was before and I can see now that one day I will fly this plane i have built myself.
