Brief Description: Trim tab adjustment, hinge drilling
Aligned trim tab to left elevator so that the trailing edges lined up. Clamped the hinge to the elevator and marked its position with a sharpie marker. Drilled the hinge using the rear spar flange as a guide and cleco'd each hole as I went along inboard to outboard. Removed the trim tab and deburred the hinge. Trimmed the overhang off of the inboard end of the hinge. Reattached the trim tab to the elevator. Adjusted the twist in the trim tab by carefully bending the twist out by hand until the trailing edge of the trim tab closely matched the trailing edge of the elevator.
